There are two meetings this week that I hope you will be able to attend. 

Chicago 2016 Presentation to the 43rd Ward

Pat Ryan, Chairman of Chicago 2016 will provide information to 43rd Ward residents regarding the proposal to host the 2016 Olympics.  A question and answer session will follow a short presentation by the 2016 committee. 

Tonight, Monday, August 10th at 6PM at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N Cannon Drive.

Safety Seminar and Police Up-Date

Please join me as the Chicago Police Department resonds to the series of attacks in Lincoln Park by hosting a special safety seminar.  Aldermen Tunney and Waguespack join me in hosting this special educational meeting.  Learn useful ways you can help keep yourself and your family safe.

Police will also be on hand to answer your questions about what actions are being taken to apprehend those responsible for the attacks.   Do not let your guard down - be aware of your surroundings and, always call 9 - 1 - 1 if anything looks suspicious.

I hope to see you at both of these important meetings. 

A full Air and Water show rehearsal will take place on Friday, but please be aware that the Thunderbirds will be out on Thursday, from 11AM - 4PM for their spotting flight.  The practice on Friday runs from 10AM -3PM and the shows on Saturday and Sunday begin at 10AM and run until 4PM.
