Gulf Shores Hangout Music Festival
After a two-year hiatus, the Hangout Music Festival returns May 20-22 in Gulf Shores. Festival headliners include singer and rapper Post Malone, Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala and Grammy-winning singer Halsey. Others set to perform include R&B and rap sensation Doja Cat, Chicago pop-punk band Fall Out Boy, dance music star Illenium, Houston hip-hop artist Megan Thee Stallion, country singer Kane Brown, Louisville rapper Jack Harlow, German Grammy-winning Russian DJ and producer Zedd and soul singer and songwriter Leon Bridges. Those 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 21. Children 5 and under are admitted free (no more than two children per accompanying adult) with a ticketed parent or guardian. Gates to the festival open at 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday. There are a few tickets left for the event.
The Birmingham Stallions will face the Michigan Panthers at 6:30 p.m. and the Tampa Bay Bandits will face the Philadelphia Stars at noon on Saturday, May 21 at Protective Stadium.
Barons of Birmingham
The Birmingham Barons will take on the Rocket City Trash Pandas until Sunday May 22 at Regions Field in Birmingham. Tickets are available online.
