Alton Towers announces fun Mardi Gras and new mid-term attractions
Alton Towers Resort welcomes back its highly acclaimed Mardi Gras celebration for 2022 – a carnival-style event set to dazzle with an explosion of color, music, street performers and delicious food. The announcement follows the arrival of three new attractions for the mid-term holiday and Jubilee period.
Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home are the latest CBeebies treats alongside brand new live shows with Bing and Flop in Big Fun Showtime. CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort is home to kids’ favorite TV shows, sparking guests’ imaginations as some of their favorite programs come to life.
The dedicated area is home to live shows, a wide range of rides, plus indoor and outdoor attractions including the Furchester Hotel, Go Jetters, In the Night Garden, Octonauts, Postman Pat and Peter Rabbit. If that wasn’t enough, the resort has been transformed into the ultimate street party with Mardi Gras returning until June 19.
It will be transformed with music, street performers, colors and food, creating a fabulous feel-good atmosphere not to be missed. From the vibrant desert staple of the event, “King Cake,” to the decorative masks worn by revelers and stunning costumes, Mardi Gras is an unforgettable family experience.
Theme park tickets start at £34 pp and CBeebies Land and the Mardi Gras Experience are included in the general admission price. Plus, kids under three travel free to Alton Towers Resort every day.
