Fall Fair Attractions Await You at Peck Farm Park in Geneva – Shaw Local

The Geneva Park District presents its annual Fall Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 at Peck Farm Park, 4038 Kaneville Road.

There will be pony rides, family activities, children’s games, crafts, a bird of prey demonstration and musical entertainment. Visitors can also mingle with animals at a petting zoo, shop for pumpkins, explore an observation silo, tour the Hollow Nature Playground, and get up close to hundreds of butterflies at the Butterfly House before it closes for the season. according to a press release from the Quartier du parc de Genève.

Tickets are available for a draw of baskets at $5 each or $20 for five tickets. They can be purchased at the event or in advance at the Sunset Community Center, Peck Farm Park Interpretive Center, or Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center. Winners will be announced on the day of the fair.

Admission to the event is free, with nominal fees for some activities, food and beverages.

All profits are donated to the Geneva Park District Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone in the neighborhood. The fall fair at Peck Farm Park is an annual fundraising event that supports the mission, according to the release.
